I started showing dogs (Bulldogs) with my family at age 5. I showed in match shows while my father showed in point shows. At about 9 years of age I was given my own dog that was shown to her Champion title. She was then bred and had a litter of two. 1 male and 1 female. The male became a top winning Bulldog. The female was finished and did some winning as well. She was bred and gave birth to one of the top winning female bulldogs of all time. In my youth I worked with many professional handlers and I won Best Junior handler at Westminster KC.

I took a break from dogs in my college years. I decided to try to rescue an Airedale Terrier as I always loved the breed. I applied for rescue and was ready to give up. The day before I was going to look at some puppies Candy Kramlich gave me a call. She brought us Saxon and the rest is history. I trained Saxon for obedience, rally agility, CGC, Pet therapy and modeling. He was one amazing dog and I have been blessed have a wonderful friend in Candy and a wonderful dog who crossed the Rainbow bridge too early in August 2012.

I am now the rescue coordinator for the Metro Ny area and try to apply all Candy taught me in my duties. I am honored to be part of this wonderful group. I also have a wonderful “2nd hand” dog named Basil who makes me laugh every day.
