A Day in the Life title

It’s with great pride that the Airedale Quilting Bee would like to introduce you to our 2008 ATCA Fundraiser Quilt Raffle.

Winners!

Many thanks to all of you who helped Airedales in need by purchasing quilt tickets. Online ordering is now over. Tickets can still be purchased at Montgomery until the drawing on October 5. Good luck to everyone.

The Quilt drawing will be on Sunday October 5th during the Montgomery Specialty weekend. You need not be present to win. Tickets are sold by mail, over the Internet, and at Airedale events throughout the summer. The money raised is sent to the ATCA Rescue and Adoption Committee to be disbursed to rescue groups as required. All profits will be used exclusively in assisting, rescuing and rehoming Airedales in need. Typical expenses include: veterinary care for pre-existing conditions, necessary shots, spaying or neutering, fees paid to shelters where Airedales are found and board for rescues when there are no foster homes available. Our foster parents are all volunteers.

"My Airedale does that!"

That is what we always hear when someone is looking at the quilts!

This year, we made a quilt with every Airedale in mind… "A Day in the Life" was created to show Airedales doing those 'everyday' things.

BUT, of course, Airedales do things the Airedale way and our quilters and artists had a great time putting the 'Airedale' spin on ordinary things. We hope that you will see a little bit of your Airedale in each and every block. Don't forget as you look at the quilt, you can click on any block and read about the quilt artist, the block artist etc. We encourage you read about each and every artist, they are all so truly talented and so very wonderful.

We're lucky, we get to have fun creating these blocks for you. Our Airedales are lucky because they have great homes, great friends and a great life. Not every Airedale is that lucky… so each year, we try our best to inspire all of you to buy as many tickets as you can so you can win the quilt and we can give ALL the monies to ATCA’s rescue funds.

Each year, we get to work with the quilters, artists, promotion members and other Bee members as we develop the idea for the quilt and bring it to completion. We are always inspired by the dedication, compassion and talent our members show each year. If you can, plan to be at the Montgomery show so you can enjoy the Airedales and see this very wonderful quilt.

GO! Click away and ENJOY…
