I am pleased to be able to contribute Trevor Airedale’s counter-surfing block this year.  This block was designed by Christie Williams.  We collaborated after finding some food fabric and this directed our block.  This is Trevor’s third block.  I have been fortunate to be able to do a block every year.

Trevor and I make our home in Oregon.  We live in a modest home that is becoming green.  Last summer we had our solar panels fit onto the house.  This has cut our electricity bills to 1/5^th of last year’s electricity bills.  We have CFL lights and two skylights that also help.  Our clothesline is in use often.  Trevor’s favorite green addition has been our Prius.  He used to get car sick, but now enjoys going anywhere in the car.

Trevor is currently keeping our new backyard tree well watered.

Trevor has appeared at our city counsel meetings and we are pleased to say that the area’s first fenced off leash dog park will be a reality for summer 2008.
