This is Duffy on a winter Summit of Mt. Washington.
The wind chill that day was minus 40.

The One Hundred Highest involved doing many bushwhack hikes. Here he sits before the coveted canister which is located on each trailless peak of the One Hundred Highest.

He stands next to the ruins of an old fire tower on a peak on an Indian reservation in northern Maine.

Many of the Bushwhacks take us through vegetation so thick that you can't see five feet in any direction.
