WATSON
Coppercrest's Mystery Man
1992 - 2005
Some of you may remember
the story of Watson,
and I thought you might like to know that Watson is a new
star in the sky now. He died Sunday night following a bout
with pancreatic cancer which was diagnosed quite a few
months ago. In true Airedale fashion, he carried on with
good grace and good humor, enjoying life every minute
and outliving everybody's expectations except his own.
His mom is, naturally, heartbroken. Send some Zen her way
to help her through this most difficult of all times.

Watson couldn't have been in a better home for his Senior years, filled with love and playmates and a great Mum.
May time ease your pain and know that many grieve with you.
Heartfelt sympathy to you,
Lydia and Alice
My 'Dale & I, Quincey, wish to convey our deep sadness to
Jill Brennan in the recent loss of her rescue 'Dale, "Watson"
last Sunday night. She is a
very special lady who took in a very special senior dog in
Oct 2001 and ensured that his remaining years were happy and
healthy ones.
We want her to know how very special she really is and that
we mourn her loss with her.
Mrs. Mary ("Mare") Moore
Please extend our deepest condolences to Watson's
family. He sure was a treasure; I hope they find peace and
eventually smiles in their memories.

Looking once again at Watson's quirky one-up and one-down ears, chuckling
at the array of his antics, and knowing just a little of his background as a
Rescuedale, I share the deep sadness and heartache that has swept over his
Forever Mom. An infinite amount of that infinite AireZen which sustains
us all is winging its way halfway around the world.
It is stories such as Watson's which make us cry and laugh, make us wonder
again at the unfathomable behaviour of some of the human race, and provide
the reasons for Rescue when none should be needed.
For Watson aka Coppercrest's Mystery Man, may you run and leap and fly
forever in the High Wild Country across the Bridge, and may your eyes
never lose their sparkle as you playbow and nosepoke and happydance your
way amongst the Airespirits who welcome you there.
If we listen carefully, we will hear their shouts ~ "Here comes Watson !!"
What a joyous cry it is.
Your star and your candle are burning forever ~
Sue ~ listening hard and looking skywards
I do remember the story of Watson and was horrified at the
original owner's attitude (get rid of the dog for landscaping.) I am
sending bushels of zen to his family. I am sure he will be a very
bright star in the heavens, he was on earth.

My heartfelt prayers and tears are with you in your loss.
It was 6 years yesterday that I lost my first dale, Brutus and I still miss him.
My new (not really he will be 6 next month) Hogan is wonderful but still he
is not a replacement just my new love.
My Hogan's right ear looks like Watson's ear.
Barb and Hogan (the horrible)
My heart breaks for Jill and her family. I'm so glad that she took
him into her heart and home and loved him until the end.
I'm sure that he knew just how much she loved him.
May she remember the happy times with him and know that
he is up there with the other dales looking down at his Mom
Cindy
Well do I remember when Watson needed and found his loving Forever Home.
This brought great happiness to him, his new family and those of us who were
glad to hear of his good fortune.
We understand the sadness and emptiness he has left behind. I hope it is of
some comfort to Jill just know that he had those good years filled with fun
and someone who loved and cared for him when he needed it most. Our thoughts
are with you.
Shine on bright star, you will not be forgotten
Cherry, with Ruaridh and Rosie
