Artist's Bio:
I live in Panama City, FL, which is in the Panhandle of Florida on the Gulf
of Mexico. I own a business - a sign shop. We do all kinds of signs except
electrical and have a full engraving shop. Miss Maggie ADT has been raised
in my shop. She goes to work with me everyday and spends her days greeting
customers and letting small children pet her.
Maggie will be seven in October. She has had an artificial hip since she was
10 months old. She likes to walk in the neighborhood, chase cats and
squirrels that venture into the yard and eat any kind of people food that she
can manage to beg with her pitiful me looks. She became an only dog this
year and has been a little lonely. We lost an older rescue ADT and a pair of
elderly Welsh Terriers all within 8 months. We have been waiting for the
right time to get a mature rescue friend for her.
I have two granddales. Boo lives here in Panama City, is a rescue ADT and
belongs to my son. Max lives in Tallahassee and belongs to my daughter. Max
comes to visit when my daughter comes and he and Maggie get along just fine.
I like to sew, craft, read and walk on the beach. Since becoming involved
with the airedale quilting adventure I have been taking quilting classes.
