Hi! I'm Vanessa Butler and I live in Cleveland, Ohio with my husband and two-year-old airegirl, Maggie May Moonpie. We call Rocky River home, which is a small community full of old cottages that sit right on Lake Erie just west of downtown. This serves us well since Maggie wakes out of sound sleep and charges to the door with even the slightest whisper of the word beach! We spend a lot of time splashing around. Maggie is our first dale and we are having an absolute blast with her. She has way more personality than we can handle - but that keeps us laughing at least. I would love to adopt another at some point (just have to convince the hubby!) I work full time in Marketing and Communications at a private school - but my background is in illustration and art, so I also teach a few classes. When I first saw the Airedale Quilting Bee on the internet - Maggie was just a puppy and I was surfing for info/help with my crazy little fur ball. I knew right away that I wanted to get involved - so I emailed the bee and here I am! I don't know much about sewing and this is the first time I've worked on the quilt. It was a huge learning experience and I had fun doing it.
